Antique Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print depicting a kabuki actor portrait, attributed to Toyohara Kunichika (1835–1900), circa 1875.

This print was acquired from Barclay Gallery (Ann Arbor, Michigan) and includes the original gallery information sheet describing the work as an original antique Japanese woodblock print. Kunichika is well known for his dramatic kabuki actor portraits from the late Edo to early Meiji period.

The artwork is professionally framed and matted, with visible Japanese calligraphy panels and red seal marks. Colors remain strong with age-appropriate toning consistent with 19th-century paper.

– No major tears or repairs observed
– Frame shows minor wear consistent with age
