Packer Nation!! RARE!! This is a premium ’47 Vintage Franchise Knit Crew (sometimes sold as the “’47 Brand Green Bay Packers Tailgate Knit Crew”).
• Heavy 100 percent cotton knit
• Appliqué block lettering on the chest
• Team patch on the sleeve
• Ribbed hem and ribbed cuffs
• Made in Peru
• Vintage red-and-cream tag (used on '47's better-quality knitwear)
• Fully fashioned shoulders-mark of quality knit wear
• No nylon, acrylic, or blended fibers (later versions used blends)
• No zipper, no elbow patches, no hood (excludes “OHT,” “Lacer,” “Breakaway,” and “Club” series)
• Vintage cream/red woven main label (the older “FORTY SEVEN BRAND / formerly Banner 47” tag)
This line was produced roughly 2014–2018, sometimes a little earlier or later depending on the team. ’47 made these cotton Peruvian knit crew sweaters in limited quantities for several MLB and NFL teams, and they’ve all become surprisingly hard to find on the open market.
