Tokanabe Japan Nippon Vase Art Deco 1920s Matte Brown Glaze Dove Bird Design 10"

Art Deco era pottery / ceramic Tokanabe vase. Deep rich brown glaze with pebbled texture. Motif is of geometric designs with birds and long tail feathers in a medallion. Two small ear style handles.

Along the flared rim there is a chip that someone has colored the same as the vase to camouflage it. All other aspects of the vase are excellent. There is some coloring in the main part of the design only , the birds, their tail feathers and a clover leaf. Textured all over with tiny little flared handles. No cracks anywhere but there are a few areas of rubbing on surfaces. Please examine photos closely for condition details.
